More Deed of Settlement celebrations details finalised

1 MARCH, 2018 UPDATE: THE VENUE FOR OUR SIGNING OF RUKUTIA TE MANA IS NOW RAKETAPAUMA MARAE, IRIRANGI

Last year uri voted with an overwhelming 99-percent endorsement of the Crown’s offer to settle our historic Treaty of Waitangi claims. While our Road to Settlement has been a long  journey, the next step for us as Ngāti Rangi is the formal signing of Rukutia te Mana on Saturday 10 March. (The signing will be on Koro Ruapehu, Tūroa). This historic iwi event is not only an opportunity for us to acknowledge all those who have contributed to the Treaty journey but to also celebrate as we look towards our vibrant existence in the next 1,000 years.
